Our purpose is to provide immersive therapeutic sound experiences designed to calm the nervous system and restore inner balance. Using advanced surround sound technology delivered through headphones, we serve individuals living with PTSD, our focus is currently on Veterans. Our work continues the vision of surround sound pioneer Jim Fosgate, bringing healing sound to those who have carried the weight of service.
Our nonprofit is dedicated to making this experience accessible, structured, and safe. Each session is delivered through the Aries system, a precision-engineered surround sound platform developed as Jim’s final project, specifically created to support deep relaxation and nervous system regulation. We are committed to honoring his legacy by carrying this work forward with integrity, compassion, and measurable impact.

How Sound Therapy Works

What to expect at a demonstration
Each demonstration session is designed to be calm, structured, and supportive.
Participants are seated comfortably in a quiet room and fitted with high-quality headphones connected to the Aries surround sound system. Once the session begins, individuals simply listen.
Research in neuroscience and trauma-informed care suggests that immersive auditory experiences can influence autonomic nervous system activity, supporting shifts from hyper-arousal toward states associated with regulation and rest. The Aries system is engineered to create spatial depth and movement beyond standard stereo audio, offering a fully immersive listening environment designed to encourage this settling response.
There is no discussion of trauma, no group sharing, and no performance required. Participants remain seated, aware, and in control throughout the experience. Sessions are time-defined and conclude with quiet reflection and optional feedback.

Is this therapy?
No. Our demonstrations are not psychotherapy or medical treatment. They are structured sound experiences informed by principles of nervous system regulation and trauma-sensitive design.
Is it safe for individuals with PTSD?
The sessions are designed to be non-invasive and do not require recounting or reliving traumatic events. Participants remain in control and may remove headphones at any time.
What makes this different from music?

How many people can participate at once?
Up to four participants per session.
What does the host need to provide?
A quiet room, comfortable seating for four individuals, and access to standard electrical outlets.
Can we install a system permanently at our location?
